Having a stroke now?

Call the ambulance or go to the closest stroke center below

If you are within 4.5 hours since your symptoms started, go to a hospital with tPA capabilities (green, blue, or yellow below)
Do not take aspirin or other medications before getting to the hospital

Green Hospitals preferred stroke centers

  • Free of cost treatment
  • 24/7 access to stroke treatments
  • High volume centers

Blue Hospitals have available treatments but have limited access and low volumes compared to green hospitals

Yellow Hospitals only provide clot busting medications and may require transfer to other stroke centers for complete stroke treatment
